John Kennedy shares our values. He stands with Louisianans who believe in the values and constitutional rights bestowed upon us by our Founding Fathers.

Life

John is pro-life. He believes that Roe v. Wade was wrongly decided and should be overturned, allowing the states to shape their own laws on abortion.

Marriage

John believes in the sanctity of marriage. He supports a constitutional amendment defining marriage as a union between one man and one woman.

Judges

John will support the nomination of strict constructionist judges in the mold of Justices Roberts, Scalia, Thomas and Alito, who abide by the Constitution and the rule of law.

Second Amendment

John is a strong supporter of the Second Amendment who will protect the rights of gun owners. As a member of the NRA and a lifelong hunter, he strongly believes gun ownership is an individual right. 

Stem Cells

John is opposed to cloning and the creation of human embryos for the purposes of research. Recent breakthroughs in science, however, now offer a pathway to adult stem cell research that can save lives, while respecting and promoting a culture of life.
